It started with aĀ Ketchup bottle...
Eight months pregnant, organized, and feeling ready, I opened a gift from a friend. Inside was a simple squirt bottle.
"For postpartum," she said casually.
I blinked.
I had taken the prenatal classes. Built the registry. Packed for baby.
But no one had prepared me for postpartum recovery.
Not what my body would go through. Not what I would need to heal. Not how overwhelming the fourth trimester can feel.
That moment revealed a massive gap in maternal care. One that countless women experience in silence.
So I did what I have always done when something did not make sense.
I researched.
Over 60 hours. Hundreds of conflicting lists. Weeks spent gathering supplies without clear guidance on what actually mattered. And yet, after my son was born, nearly everything I had prepared became essential.
That experience changed the trajectory of my life.
Building Healing Mama Co.
In 2019, I founded Healing Mama Co., one of the first medically backed, pre-packed labor and postpartum recovery bag companies.
We supported thousands of births, helping mothers feel prepared, confident, and cared for during one of the most vulnerable transitions of their lives.
But through that work, I discovered something even more important.
Products help.
Education transforms.
The Birth of Mama Care Coach
After closing Healing Mama Co. and welcoming my second baby, I knew the mission was not finished. The real solution was not more products. It was giving parents the knowledge, preparation, and confidence they were missing.
That is why I created Mama Care Coach.
Today, I teach expecting parents how to prepare not just for birth, but for recovery, healing, and the fourth trimester.
Through courses, prenatal classes, speaking, and coaching, I help families move from uncertainty to clarity so no mother enters postpartum feeling blindsided.
My Approach
I do not teach nursery design or registry checklists.
I teach recovery.
I teach preparation.
I teach partners how to show up with confidence and support.
Because preparing for baby is only part of the story.
Preparing for you is everything.

Beyond Motherhood
I am also a lifelong adventurer. I have backpacked 58 countries, and my first baby joined me in seven of them. Motherhood did not shrink my world. It expanded it.
That perspective shapes everything I teach.
Preparation creates freedom.
Knowledge creates confidence.
Support changes everything.
My Mission
My mission is simple.
To raise the standard of postpartum preparation and care.
So every mother enters the fourth trimester feeling informed, supported, and empowered.
